After taking off from Kathmandu airport,
we head towards the mountain resorts of Kakani, where
the mighty Himalayan range awaits you with all its majesty.
Mt. Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and various
other peaks can be seen to the north. Entire Kathmandu
valley will be visible on the southern side from this
spot. As we head towards Nagarkot to the east Mt. Everest,
Mt. Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar and many other great
peaks are visible on a clear days. The highlight of
this mountain flight is also a cultural viewing experience.
During this flight , the Helambu Valley, a home of the
Sherpa and Tamang people with its small mountain hamlet
and villages can be seen from the flight. And in our
return flight, we fly over the ancient cities of Bhaktapur,
Patan and Kirtipur. You will also got chance to have
a close view of ancient temples and stupas before landing
in Kathmandu.
